How we use your information

This page explains what information Yarrows collects when you visit and shop with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you place an order or create an account, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, and what you order. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
Information we collect automatically
When you use the site, we collect some information automatically, such as:
- how you use the shop, like the pages and products you view and what you add to your bouquet;
- how you found us, like a link from another website or one of our posts;
- information about your device and browser, like its type and settings;
- signs of whether a person or an automated program is browsing, like whether your browser describes itself the same way each time it asks for something, and whether you’ve moved the mouse, tapped or typed on a page.
We use cookies and similar technologies, including information about your device, to recognize your browser or device when you come back, so that visits and a returning customer’s activity can be understood together.
How we use it
- To take and deliver your orders and keep you updated about them.
- To run your account and show your order history.
- To understand what customers are interested in and improve the shop.
- To keep the shop secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
If you sign in or place an order, we may connect your browsing to your account or order, including visits from other devices you sign in on.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with advertisers. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the shop, such as our payment processor, shipping carriers and the services that host our website, and only as they need it to do that work. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
Cookies and similar storage in your browser keep you signed in, remember your bouquet until you check out, and help us understand how the site is used. Our payment processor also uses cookies as you browse and check out to help prevent fraud. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the shop, like staying signed in, may not work as expected.
How long we keep it
Information about how the site is used is deleted after 12 months. Order and account information is kept for as long as we need it for your order history, our records, and tax and legal requirements.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. If you live in California or another state with a privacy law, you have these rights under that law, and we won’t treat you differently for using them.
Children
The shop isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this page
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
